Ashwin Jacob Samuel hails from Kochi. He completed his Architecture degree from Chennai. He pivoted into graphic designing and started his own firm, Studio Lore in Kochi where he works as a Creative Director, Illustrator, Graphic Designer, and UX Designer. He has been creating movie posters from 2020 onwards for up-and-coming indie directors and has received critical praise for his posters.
