Indianama 2024

Indianama 2024: FOUND: Ambassador by Ashwin Jacob April 20, 1969. While the USSR and USA battle for space supremacy, ISRO, in quiet determination, embarks on its own lunar mission. Lacking grand budgets, the Indian team relies on “jugaad” - creative ingenuity. Their chosen lunar rover? The Ambassador, India’s iconic car. With Soviet whispers of technology and Indian resourcefulness, the vehicle is transformed to navigate the moon’s surface. It’s no longer just a car but a symbol of India’s ambition, set to defy expectations and place the nation’s mark among the stars, with quiet perseverance and an unyielding drive to dream beyond Earth. Indianama 2024 brought together 42 artists to design 40 stamps based on the idea of ‘Lost & Found’ objects, concepts, and ideas. The stamps were exhibited at Method Gallery in Mumbai for a limited time.
